Founder & CEO
Mike Demasi has over 20 years of commercial leadership experience, including leadership positions at two global consumer products companies and a growth stage technology company. Mr. Demasi launched DFC Partnerships, L.L.C. after spending over three years at Phononic supporting their evolution from a startup to a growth stage company. He joined Phononic as Vice President & General Manager of Cold Products in June of 2014, where he orchestrated the successful launch of the Cold Products business unit resulting in rapid customer acquisition and revenue growth. He led his team on the journey of product & brand launch, market awareness & penetration, and aftermarket service & support. His personal mantra of "Impact versus Activity" drove focus toward value-add activities in their chosen markets and minimized distractions many startup companies struggle with trying to be everything to everyone.
Prior to Phononic, Mr. Demasi was the General Manager of the Consumer Products Group at Whirlpool Corporation, where he was responsible for managing the product development, branding, operations, and selling of the fast-moving, highly profitable consumables business. During his time at Whirlpool, he was instrumental in leading his team to launch an award-winning innovation that went from concept to retailer shelves in less than 12 months. Prior to that, Mr. Demasi spent 14 years at Stanley Black & Decker in multiple commercial-facing roles that included sales and marketing management positions with key retailers like Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Sears, and many other channels of distribution.
Mr. Demasi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business from Loyola University.
